I’m a Christian but I’m also vegetarian. Recently people have been challenging me about why I’m vegetarian when God gave the right for humans to rule of animals and Jesus ate fish. Do you have any reasons I could use to argue back? -

Oh, yes! That’s one of the bummers of being a vegan or vegiterian and a Christian at the same time. So many people wanna force you to eat meat because they say God gave us meat and we should be eating it. I try to avoid putting any scripture in my answer when I talk to them because then a huge argument will arise. I learned that the hard way.

Plus when people ask you this question it’s not really because they really care about what you have to say but because they wanna try to prove you wrong. 

So now I simply just tell them about all the cruelty that goes on in slaughter houses and how it breaks my heart. A lot of people don’t know how horrible animals are treated.

I’m also not a fan of all the hormones that are injected into animals, it’s not healthy.

God knows the reason why I’m vegan and He’s 100% alright with it. c:
