u deleted the transgender question… well, what makes a man a “man” and what makes a woman a “woman”. is a man less of a man if he doesn’t have a penis? is a woman less of a woman if doesn’t have a breast? what about hermaphodites, how do they know who they’re suppose to be with. -

We didn’t want to create any confusion on our blog. The way the anon worded their question was a bit confusing and the way we answered made it more confusing.. you couldn’t really tell if we were for it or against it. We at BHFJ are all against it. So we decided it was best to delete it. Just trying to make that clear. c:

anyway! now on the subject of hermaphrodites.

The bible doesn’t touch on that subject, so it’s kind of hard to know God’s point of view on this. God created man and God created woman. His intentions were so that those born male act like males and those born female act like females. Sometimes in rare instances there are babies born with both male and female sexual organs. This is due to sin being part of the world. Sin can alter our bodies from the way God had first created them. In the case of hermaphrodites, God still intends for them to be one or the other.

It would be best for this person to grow and decided for themselves. After all they would know who they identify themselves with: male or female.  That’s how they know who they’re supposed to be with.  I think surgery in this case to alter the body would be alright.

Plus hermaphrodites that are 50% female and 50% male don’t exist. They are always going to be more of one gender then the other.

God bless. <3
