godismymomentum-deactivated2012 asked: I have always been a believer, but I am now learning the word of God. I don't know much about the bible, and I have a friend whose Muslim who is very supportive. My muslim friend used to be Christian, but it always lead her to be more confused then to be getting more answers. She repeatedly states the bible has been re-written over and over, and the Quran hasn't therefore is truth. She is getting me confused about everything and which to believe.
For you to understand who God is, you have to have a personal encounter with Him. That is what makes the difference. Many people are confused because one thing is to have faith and another is to have your own personal testimony of which you have had your own divine experienced with our Creator. To this day, God is the same yesterday, today and throughout the ages. He never changes.(Hebrews 13:8 and Malachi 3:6)
Some of the obstacles are:
- Lack of Faith. [Hebrews 11:6] And Faith is the victory that conquers the world!
- Sin
- Disobedience
- Pride..
When you have the desire in your heart to know God. You have to believe in His word. Because through that, you will find eternal life. [John 5:39] And if we do not believe in His word, we are calling God a liar. You need knowledge of how The Bible was created. Because the original Bible, you cannot take away from it and you can’t add to it. And that book has been the most attacked and has been the only book that has survived criticism from the well known scientist, people etc. But none of them have been able to prove our existence.
Know the truth and the truth shall set you free. John 8:32
Know Why You Believe
Know What You Believe
