“When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby in her womb leaped. She was filled with the Holy Spirit,42 and sang out exuberantly, You’re so blessed among women, and the babe in your womb, also blessed!43 And why am I so blessed that the mother of my Lord visits me?” (The Message Luke 1:41-43)//Clearly, Mary is the mother of God because Jesus is God. Plus, Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit when saying this and the Holy Spirit is never wrong. Not saying we should pray to Mary though. -

Hey! :)

God doesn’t have a mother. God has been around since the beginning of time. God has no beginning and He has no end. God is eternal.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. - Revelation 22:13

I don’t agree with you that Mary is the Mother of God since it doesn’t say it in the bible that she is, but I do agree with you that she was very blessed since God chose her to bear Jesus into this world.

Mary wasn’t a women without sin. She indeed was a sinner and all sinners need a saviour in Luke 1:46-47 Mary clearly states that God is her saviour. Also, Mary isn’t a virgin anymore the bible says she had children:

“Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” - Matthew 13:55-56

Saying Mary is the mother of God puts Mary into a higher position then God and this is not true. The title Mother of God is taken from ancient pagan worship and is referred to Ishtar, Asarte, Ishtar and many other pagan entities.
