ogaanz4lyfe asked: i was wondering if you knew any scripture that talks about over thinking?
Hey, friend!!
When you’re over thinking something it’s usually because you’re worrying about it. You, know. Too much anxiety.
I’ll give you some verses on worrying:
Matthew 6:25-34
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life ? ”And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Luke 12:24-34
Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life ? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? ”Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well. ”Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Colossians 3:15
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
2 Thessalonians 3:16
“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.”
Psalm 55:22
“Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.”
Proverbs 12:25
“An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up.”
Philippians 4:6-7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
1 Peter 5:6-8
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
Psalm 23:4
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
Hebrews 13:5-6
“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
Psalm 56:3
“When I am afraid, I will trust in you.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Romans 8:38
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers.”
When you find yourself over thinking or worrying just stop right where you are and pray. Ask God to help you stop over thinking/worrying and to fill you with peace. He’ll do it, mate!
God Bless!
Anonymous asked: even with god's mercy and love, I am constantly on the verge of a mental break down. that, or I am just having one continuous mental breakdown. either way, please pray that I get better. I know God will not let me live like this forever. I need help finding a reason for this suffering.
When God looks down upon the earth, he doesn’t see a crowd. A million or a billion.. he doesn’t see a multitude of people. He’s sees you. He knows you and he loves you. He knows your dreams, he knows your burdens, he knows your desires, your troubles, your worries… he knows you and he cares about you a lot.
When we say “I know that You’re with me”. It’s a true confession. God with us. He says he’s with us till the end of the age.
In this life, we will confront pain, afflictions and troubles but Jesus said, “take heart for I have overcome the world.” It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or what you’ve been through ‘cause Jesus has already overcome it all. The fight you’re in has already been won.
Just ask God and cry out to him out of the depths of your heart to break the chains of anxiety and chains of stress and worry. And if you ask him with a true heart, then God will be true to you and free you of it all.
Jesus loves you friend. And through it all, he’ll be with you.
And I believe with all my heart that the enemy is and has been already defeated in your life.
spinningfantasees asked: I've made some pretty amazing friendships here that I would hate to let go and it would be devastating. I don't just don't want to believe that God would want me to be unhappy for the next three years singing music I'm not passionate about. Idk, I'm very torn and confused and in desperate need of prayer and spiritual advice.
Hello dearie :)
Yes have read all your posts… replying to this one.
We will keep you in prayers! For God to lead you in the way He wants to…
First let’s just go over some things…
-We ask through prayer in faith
-He answers our prayers according to His will
-Our prayers are fruitful when our desires line up with His
So if He makes something known to you… Know that:
- He has planned something great for you (Jer 29:11)
- He has gone before you and will equip you with all the things you need to go through it
- His grace is more than sufficient (2 Cor 12:9)
The will of God will never take you where the grace of God can not protect you!!
To share from my experience… I am currently pursuing something I am not passionate about but it is the will of God for me to do what I am doing and He made it known to me.
I may not understand it now but in retrospect all things make sense. He accomplishes through us things we can not foresee or comprehend!
Stay strong! Stay focused! Stand tall! :D
We will pray for you!

Anonymous asked: Hi :) i just wanted to say i really enjoy your blog but i also wanted to ask for advice please. Since I was little i hated seeing others sad and depressed and im 16 and still do. The really hard part to this is that my mother, my sister, and my father i feel they are all struggling so much to be happy & satisfied. My mother & sister constantly remind me of my faults and I keep doing my best but i never feel like im good enough. So worrying about them and myself is so hard, i feel so let down.
We have worries in life, especially for the ones we love the most. There is a popular scripture quoted in 1 Peter 5 but people only quote half of it and leave out something important. “6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” Casting our care upon God is part of humbling ourselves. When we try to carry our burdens ourselves it’s like saying we can do it all on our own but when we place our faith in God and allow him to lift burdens we are humbled.
People will remind you of your faults. Part of this is due to that we indeed are not perfect. It’s important to strive but when we get to the place where we feel like we’ll never be good enough, that’s condemnation. I know from some experience there are just critical people out there. They’re trying to find fault. Jesus even dealt with it. People were finding fault with his ministry. His disciples were ridiculed for not washing their hands before eating.
Pray and believe. Be a light to your family. Do your best. Let God take care of the rest.
