The truth is, nobody’s life is a free ride.
We all face different challenges, we all confront pain in our lives. We all confront troubles, we all face different fears. We all deal with our failures.
There’s so many things that we’ve let rip us off from what God’s called us to do.. I feel like life’s too short for that. And I don’t know when it will be, but I know that between now and then, each of us has got a lot of living to do.
Every single day, I feel like God gives us opportunities. And I pray that we wouldn’t restrict our faith to a time when we’re just together, in church or with other Christians, but that we would understand God is with us.
When we say that “I know that you’re with me”. it’s a true confession, God is with us.
He’s with you, everyday, each moment. In the good times, in the bad times, in the trials, in the triumphs.. Though it all, He’s with you.
My prayer is just that we be aware of that. And so as we go about what we’re called to do. As we go about our daily days. As we go back to our friends, our family at school, our work places… wherever it is, that we be aware of the fact that, God is with us. He says He’s with us always. Till the end of the age. [Matt. 28.20]
It’s the truth. And I couldn’t do life without Him. Without Him it would be meaningless and be worth nothing.
And the fact is, we are going to face troubles, we are going to face trials, there’s going to be hard times..
but in the midst of it He says, “take heart, for I have overcome the world.”
Jesus has overcome it all. And in the end of it all, for His glory, for His praise. Everything is going to be reversed. Everything is going to be flipped upside down. The world as we know it will be turned on its head.
And we’ll all realize and we’ll all see, that man, thou king, thou risen saviour. Jesus.
We’ll be keeping you and your friend in our heart and in our prayers.

Aim to work on the causes of your depression, not just the symptoms.
Scripture points to many issues of sin or conflict that can affect your emotions; most counselors would agree that depression can result from other underlying issues. Don’t just worry about the depression itself; check to see what other problems need attention.
Realize that you can’t base life on your emotions
Christians base life on truth, not feelings. Philippians 4:1 commands us to rejoice (whether we feel like it or not!). And James 1:2 asks us to “Consider it all joy when we fall into various trials.” Notice that James doesn’t tell us to feel joyful; he tells us to reckon, to choose to think about your situation as a spot where you can have joy.
Faith
Choosing to trust truth rather than your feelings may require a lot of faith. And if that is what we mean by asking if faith can solve depression, then faith may be enough in some cases. Trusting what God says rather than your feelings is certainly a more realistic approach to life!

Depression is a complex topic.
First, you’re a three-part being. You’re a spirit, you have a soul, and you have a body. 1 Thess 5:23 supports that we’re a three-part being. “Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again.” Spirit, soul, and body! Our spirit is the real us, and should be over our body and soul.
A born-again believer is not depressed in their spirit. Depression only exists in the soulish and fleshly realm. It is ALWAYS from the enemy. Depression exists due to the fall of man and has been completely paid for by Jesus regardless of if it is illness or demonic/sin related.
Either way, there is freedom in Jesus. Believe on him for healing and deliverance. Meditate on his goodness. We’ll be praying for you.

When you ask God for healing in your life, It’s already Gods will, He hears you, and He wants to heal you.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” - Matthew 7:7-8
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” - Mark 11:24

I’m not going to answer this from a lying perspective but from the perspective from your depression. You need to get help. This help should include receiving prayer for healing. Yes, depression is something we can be healed of. People will disagree and say “someone should go to a doctor” like depression is different from any other sickness. Jesus paid for physical, emotional, and mental healing.
You can also receive Christian counseling which God uses to bring healing.
I’m not against medical science and there are medicines you can take. Medicines, however, aren’t God’s best and medicine often has side-effects. I’m not saying for someone to drop meds and believe for healing, but I am saying it’s God’s will to heal.

Thats awesome! God wants everything of you, and you want everything of God! This is the beginning of a relationship with He!
God tell us in Luke 11:9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” God is desperate for your love! You only have to tell Him: God, I want to see your glory!, God I need you more than everything! and He will run to you, like prodigal son story “So he got up and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him”(Luke 15:20) “But we had to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live, and was lost and has been found.” (Luke 15:32) That’s a beautiful story!
And is good go to the church and and share songs, verses and God’s presence with your spiritual family! And eventually you will see the spiritual fruits!

A question to ask yourself- is there any habitual sin in your life?
Is there something hindering your fellowship with God?
If there is, you should turn away from it…
If that is not the case… There are times when we don’t feel like we dancing on the mountain tops… It’s ok… There are seasons on our lives when we feel like we are in the wilderness…
But these times are all the more special because it truly shows us how much we are in need of God’s grace and help!
Continue to walk through this ‘wilderness’… And keep doing His will and meditating on His Word… You will find that this season brought you much more closer to God! :)
I also went through such phases… But God provides at the right time… He wants you to realize that He alone carries you… not people, not circumstances.
Wisdom comes from God alone… Pay attention to the Spirit and He will guide you!

Life can be hard. There were times I felt like that too. You are not alone, there are many people with your same feelings. It is not your time to be with God. We cannot make that choice. God has special plans for you, but they are not yet revealed. I learned to never ask God, “why?” but to ask God what He wanted me to learn from this.
When I look back at my whole life, I understand why I had to go through so many troubles.
Know that God is watching over you. His hands and arms are open waiting for you. All you have to do is ask. Ask Him to forgive you for your thoughts and any sin you have committed. Tell Him that you accept His will to be done in your life. Nothing can be worse than what He went through. What we have to suffer is nothing.
Jesus said, carry your cross and follow me. Ask Him to help you carry it because it is too heavy. Seek prayer from your church. In the name of Jesus, you are free from those chains that bind you. Claim it and believe it. Give your heart to God and accept Him as your Savior. God truly loves you, and believe me He is with you.

Sometimes I have felt distant from God. Sad but true. I felt like he wasn’t listening to my prayers or even cared to. But now I know that, that’s a whole lot’o bologna from ol Mista Deceiver, also known as Satan. Truth is God is always with you, he’s always listening to you, and he always cares. So don’t let satan fool you. If you want to feel close to God, you have to spend time with him. Talk to him everyday. He’s listening to you even if you don’t think he is. Also read your bible everyday! Don’t let it just sit on your shelf gathering dust, open it up and read it. God’s word is in the Bible and he speaks to you through it. In James 4:8 it says: “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.”
