God creates all of us in His image (Genesis 1:27) but after the fall of man (Genesis 3:1-24) is exactly when sin fell into the picture. 

Now since there is sin in the world (as a result of our disobedience) this is the reason why there are deformations, sickness, etc in the world today.

This isn’t God’s fault, this is our own fault.

Anonymous asked: Why does God give people disabilities? Like even before they are born? Did they do something wrong?

The word of God always tells us the truth. c:

“Know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” - John 8:32

The reason behind deformations in babies is because of Generational sin. (Doctors classify this as “Genetic Disease”). A lot of the time sin gets dragged along with us from generation through generation because of our parents, grandparents, and great grandparents sins. 

So sin is the reason behind this.

“You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand [generations] of those who love me and keep my commandments.” - Exodus 20:5-6

As humans, when we don’t know God we live in captivity and sin eats away at our lives and the lives of our offsprings and their offsprings. Jesus came to set the captives free (to take us out of our captivity. (Isaiah 61:1) When Jesus becomes a part of our lives, God will break these generational chains.
