Yes! God speaks to us in different ways dreams being one of them.

God spoke to Mary, Joseph, Paul, Daniel and many others through dreams in the bible.

No, not all dreams are from God. I’ve definitely had dreams that aren’t from God. I’ve had dreams that have led me into temptation.

Dreams from God will line up with his word and usually they’ll be different from your normal dreams. I have prophetic dreams and they are different from normal dreams… one way being that I remember them well and remember specific details and revelation on meaning.

Not all dreams have meaning. I think some people learn that God gives Spirit-filled believers dreams and visions and then they want to think every dream has a meaning. I have a friend who was like that. God gives me dreams rarely and afterward I know it’s God, the dream sticks in my memory and the Spirit reveals to me what the prophetic significance of that dream was.
