inthatinstantwewerealive asked: do you all think it's possible for God to speak directly to people? because I know some Christians who think it's impossible because they think everything God wanted to say about anything was in the Bible
Yes! God does speak directly to people.
He speaks through dreams, through people, through signs, He speaks audibly to people, through thoughts, feelings, impressions and He speaks through His word which is known as the bible.
How do you know God has spoken to you? It always matches up with His word and God will never contradict Himself.
“God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” - Numbers 23:19

Anonymous asked: When we read stuff from different stories of the Bible, ie: "“…I will free you from their bondage and I will rescue you with an outstretched arm…” (Exodus 6:6, AMP).", do we only relate it to the circumstances of that moment, or is it acceptable to relate to our own personal problems?
We can read it both ways. A lot of the stuff in the old testament is actually pointing to Christ. There’s stuff that blows my mind like that. We can relate to things with our own problems but from a new covenant prospective. I have some stuff out of Psalms on my bathroom mirror that I confess over my life when I read it.

Anonymous asked: I feel so at peace when I'm praying to God. Prayer is just one of those ways that I'm able to attain that peace of mind. But lately, I've realized that if I'm the one doing all the talking, there's no room for God to respond to my prayers. What can I do to just listen in for His answer? And how will I know when He's answered?
Prayer is a dialogue but so often we try to do all the talking. Sometimes it just means choosing to have some quiet time. We should also spend time in his word.
Thing with God answering prayers is it isn’t always something we know about. We should be attentive to God’s still small voice. The best way I describe it is something you hear inside.

Anonymous asked: So I have applied to around 9 colleges and I am very excited about it! The only thing that I am anxious about is that how am I sure which one to go to? I know God will lead me but how will I know which one he is leading me to? Its such a long and stressful process that I'm not sure I will know how to choose.
That’s so rad!! ;o
ask God for confirmation on which college to go to,
& wait on His answer.
Sometimes He gives us confirmation through people, books, magazines, moives, tv, etc.
I know it sounds crazy, but it’s true.
Keep you’re spiritual eyes and ears open so you can receive the answer.
When it’s God talking to you, you will feel it in your heart.
You just have to believe it. c:
