It teaches that hell destroys the wicked, once and for all. It makes it clear that hell is a place where the wicked perish in fire. They will burn up as “stubble” and will “become ashes” (Malachi 4:1, 3). Psalm 68:2 says, “as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.” There won't be people suffering in agony for eternity.

I’m sorry to say anon, but you are incorrect. 

Hell is in fact Eternal.

“His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” - Matthew 3:12

“His winnowing fork is in His hand to thoroughly clear His threshing floor, and to gather the wheat into His barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” - Luke 3:17

“If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life crippled, than, having your two hands, to go into hell, into the unquenchable fire.” - Mark 9:43

The word “unquenchable” is asbestos in Greek.  According to the enhanced Strong’s lexicon, it means “unquenchable, the eternal hell fire to punish the damned.”

The following citations are from Greek dictionaries and Lexicons.  They show that the word “unquenchable,” which is asbestos in the Greek, (which occurs only in Matt. 3:12, Luke 3:17, and Mark 9:43) means unquenchable, without end.

• “unquenchable, inextinguishable”2
• “not quenched”3
• “pertaining to a fire that cannot be put out” - “unquenchable.”4
• “unquenched, unquenchable”5
• “that cannot be put out”6

According to Jesus, hell is prepared for the devil, his angels, and all who follow the devil; heaven is prepared for those who trust and follow Jesus Christ.

The Reality of Hell

Though all deserve to go to hell, and no one deserves to go to heaven, those who go to hell do so because of the choices they make while living on earth.

Those who refuse to receive Jesus Christ, who is the way to heaven, are embracing the terrible, eternal destiny of hell.

Jesus declared, “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light.” And not only do such people choose darkness, but they delight in it. Paul says Jesus Christ “will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.” They perish because they refuse to love the truth and be saved.

Jesus spoke of it as a place of darkness and weeping and gnashing of teeth. Hell is the consequence of God’s wrath upon the ungodly—a place of fire, agony, and unending punishment.

The Scripture does not teach that sinners are annihilated nor does it say that there is a second chance to get out of hell after death. In fact, people will be fully conscious in hell and will be plagued by the memory that it was their own decision that sentenced them to hell.

The description of hell in the Scriptures could be symbolic, but only because the reality of hell is unimaginable; it is greater than what symbols could convey. Jesus spoke about hell more than anybody else in the Bible. He did so that we might embrace the grace revealed in him and go to heaven, the place of unending happiness in God’s presence.

Everyone has the chance to choose life or death before they die &what you choose is completely your own choice. God gave everyone freewill and God won’t intervene in your decision. 

God doesn’t send anyone to hell, people send themselves there.

The bible says Jesus died for the sins of mankind. (everyone is included here, since we all sin.)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 6:23

God originally created hell for satan and his demons (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10)

Hell is a place of everlasting fire (Revelation 20:15)(Luke 16:24)(Matthew 5:22)(Matthew 13:42)(Matthew 13:50)(Matthew 18:9)(Mark 9:45-48) in hell there will be weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 24:51) & non stop torment from day to night. (Revelation 14:11) & everlasting punishment, eternal damnation,  (Matthew 25:46)

“And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments…” - Luke 16:23

Hell is located in the center of the earth. (Matthew 12:40)

“And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive INTO THE PIT, and the earth closed upon them.” Numbers 16:32-33

Hell is not a place anyone wants to be, &you wouldn’t even want to wish for your worst enemies to be thrown in there. Jesus said it is better for a person to loose an arm, a leg, gauge an eye out, cut off any  part of your body then for your whole body to be thrown into hell. (Matthew 5:29)
