Prayer is pretty darn POWERFUL. It’s the best thing to do in any type of situation. And through prayer with faith, God moves. 

If someone has called you a bad name or talked badly about you behind your back, I’d say to pray for them and during that prayer— in your heart, forgive that person and then push them aside from your life and keep your focus on God. If God wants to bring that person back into your life, He will. And if that person confronts you, continue to show love to them, because showing love to those who seem to least deserve it, loving those people even when they hate you and hurt you—- that is the love of God. And God is who we represent, everyday. Amen?

evianwater asked: To the anon confused about praying. This is what I learned a few years back and it has stuck with me since then. When you pray, your hands are together. Your pinky is the farthets from you, pray for those you don't know (poor, sick...), ring finger: those you love (fam, friends), middle finger: your enemies, index/pointer finger (teachers point) so show thanks for an education and job, and thumb faces you so pray for yourself :)

Anonymous asked: I have a question, but it might sound silly! How do you pray?! Like, before you go to sleep? I mean do you just say a couple of the prayers we've been taught? (Our Father, Hail Mary,etc.) Or do you just have a conversation with God?

I believe that originality is always thee best way to do eet. I’m not saying it’s wrong to recite a prayer, I just feel prayer means more when it comes from your heart in your own words. 

Before I go to sleep I just have a stellar conversation with the Big Guy Upstairs. I usually begin with thanking Him for giving me another day to live and thanking Him for watching over me. I pray for my family, my friends, my school mates, you guys on the webs, and for Gods will to be done. I usually end my prayer by telling God I love Him and asking God to watch over me whilst I sleep.

But my best advice for night time prayers is this:

“When you pray to God just let your heart do the talking.”
