inthatinstantwewerealive asked: my best friend is a Christadelphian and they believe that when you die you just sleep till God establishes His kingdom on earth (that people dont go to Heaven after death) and that theres no hell or demons, that all bad things are lusts of the flesh, i disagree with him 1000000000 % , he says "hell" is a giant pile of burning trash outside of jerusalem (he read about it online) and i hate figthing with him, i want him to see the truth. what do i do?

And he said to them, “This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer.” Mark 9:29

Pray for him.

PRAYER IS POWER, BRO. It’s like a giant punch to the face. lol

Just let God take control and sooner than soon he’ll reveal the truth to that kid.

Anonymous asked: How do God answer our prayers? In what way? Did he hear every prayer we had? How do we get close to him?

Hi!

God answers our prayers by His power! He is omnipotent i.e all powerful! :D

Here are some verses on God answering prayers:

Jer 1:12…….. “I am ready to perform My Word.”

Jn 16:24……. “Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”

Mt 21:22………”…whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Jer 33:3……… “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things…”

Jn 14:14…….. “If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.”

Jn 16:23…….. “…whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.”

Jas 5:16…….. “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

Job 22:27…… “You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you…”

1Jn 5:14…….. “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

1Jn 5:15…….. “And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”

Jn 14:13…….. “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

Isa 55:11……. “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Jn 15:7………. “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”

Mt 18:18…….. “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

Mt 18:19…….. “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”

Jn 15:16…….. “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”

Jer 29:12…….. “Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.”

Isa 65:24…….. “It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer, and while they are speaking I will hear.”

Ps 91:15…….. “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.”

Ps 141:2……… “Let my prayer be set before You as incense, the lifting of my hands as the evening sacrifice.”

How do we get close to Him?

If you are not saved here are some steps:

  1. Admit you are a sinner.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12)

“If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (1 John 1:10)

  2. Be willing to turn from sin (repent).

Jesus said: “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:5)

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:” (Acts 17:30)

  3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”(John 3:16)

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us.”(Romans 5:8)

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

  4. Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Saviour.

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:10)

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

    Be Blessed

Anonymous asked: Hi :) i just wanted to say i really enjoy your blog but i also wanted to ask for advice please. Since I was little i hated seeing others sad and depressed and im 16 and still do. The really hard part to this is that my mother, my sister, and my father i feel they are all struggling so much to be happy & satisfied. My mother & sister constantly remind me of my faults and I keep doing my best but i never feel like im good enough. So worrying about them and myself is so hard, i feel so let down.

We have worries in life, especially for the ones we love the most. There is a popular scripture quoted in 1 Peter 5 but people only quote half of it and leave out something important. “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” Casting our care upon God is part of humbling ourselves. When we try to carry our burdens ourselves it’s like saying we can do it all on our own but when we place our faith in God and allow him to lift burdens we are humbled.

People will remind you of your faults. Part of this is due to that we indeed are not perfect. It’s important to strive but when we get to the place where we feel like we’ll never be good enough, that’s condemnation. I know from some experience there are just critical people out there. They’re trying to find fault. Jesus even dealt with it. People were finding fault with his ministry. His disciples were ridiculed for not washing their hands before eating.

Pray and believe. Be a light to your family. Do your best. Let God take care of the rest.

lingsquare asked: I have a question about prayer. I know that prayer is something we should be doing throughout the day, like having a conversation with God. But I was wondering about the phrase "in Jesus' name". I was wondering if that's a necessary part of prayer and if I don't say it does that mean my prayer won't be heard or should I just say it anyways to be on the safe side?

I do not believe it is required, nor is the word amen. That doesn’t mean these are things you shouldn’t do. Saying “In Jesus’ name” is declarative of by what name you ask. I don’t believe that means that you must literally say those words. I still use it, especially in prayer with other people. Also, the phrase doesn’t have to be worded exactly like that and it doesn’t have to be at the end. I used to think when someone said “In Jesus name” everyone looked up and said amen. I remember going to a service at my uncle’s church, a Church of God, when I was a kid and the guy said “in Jesus’ name” several times and I kept looking up, realize it wasn’t over and quickly look back down (at that time I still thought you had to close your eyes and look down to pray).

Your prayer is heard according to faith. Just because you didn’t put the words at the end doesn’t mean God won’t hear it.
Hope that helps bring some understanding. =]

*******

God will only do something for us because of Jesus! There is power in Jesus name! It is not just a phrase but it is the most powerful name above any name or anything at all. Jesus paid the price for us to have communication with God the father again, so if it wasn’t for Jesus God would not be able to hear us sort of speak; perhaps He can hear He is God but unable to answer because only Jesus is the doorway for us to the father, who answers all prayers.

Every prayer need to have Jesus name it because it is only through Jesus power that things can change. This is how I personally see it.
