Anonymous asked: hiya! :) So I have a question about Judas? You know how at the last supper Jesus said one of you will betray me. Did Judas go to hell? I mean unless he asked for Gods forgiveness but I was just thinking about all of that, since it seemed a bit prophesied. Did God intend for him to sin?

SALUTATIONS!! :O

You ask 2 perdy bodacious questions! The first answer is, “No” Judas did not enter heaven.  We base our judgment on this due to Matthew 26:24 (Jesus talking about Judas) : “The Son of Man will go just as it is written about Him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born”

It is true that God had already known way from the start that Judas would betray Jesus but nevertheless God knowing what would happen would not effect the choice Judas would make. Just like you, me, and everyone else we all have free will. We all have our own freewill to choose what or what not to do. To make good choices are bad ones. God does not and will not interfere with our personal choices.

Judas may have felt guilty due to his fearfulness of God (which is what caused him to return the money to the Pharisees) but the bitter truth is he never repented for his actions and decided to commit suicide instead. (Matthew 27:5-8).

If we read further into the bible in John 17:12, Jesus prays concerning His disciples, “While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.”

God Bless!

thechapelblog asked: For the anon who asked about hell, a way that helped me understand this: God sent himself as a perfect man to die for us imperfect humans so that we DIDN'T have to go to hell. He loves us so much He sacrificed Himself because he couldn't bear us going to hell. For those who refuse to accept the gift of God's grace, they wouldn't want to be in Heaven, because heaven=ultimate closeness to God which is what they reject on earth. He's given us freedom to reject Heaven if we want to. Hope that helps!

Radtastic! Thanks for sharing! :))

Anonymous asked: So I have a few things I wanted to say before getting to my ultimate question. I have a profound respect for Christianity. In fact, I love the message of Jesus Christ and what HE taught. It is rather unfortunate that so many of his proclaimed followers don't heed his message, nor follow the path of love and acceptance. My question involves the teaching of an "eternal hell." How can an all loving, all merciful God, create a human being he knows will be imperfect, then damn him to an ETERNAL HELL?

because of Hope.

He believes in us, even at our imperfection. He believes so much in us that He DIED for us. now Jesus also gave us a free will, God did not want us to be robots, but to have faith, and have Love for what He does for us. an action causing a reaction.

now Hell is just somewhere that lost souls wait to be judged. Now salvation is gained through the confession of Jesus Christ, not to deviate, but to declare that He was the sacrifice for our sins. then its not about what we did, but what He did on the cross.

so why is hell there? its so we know the consequences. God wants us to co-exist, not kill each other.Just like a parent teaches their child to behave, God teaches us how CO-EXIST.

so think about it, hell and heaven, is like saying, destroy or LOVE.

indeed its a simple thing on paper, but its a tough process…thats why no one can Love like Jesus did…

Jesus is totally awesome!   =3

God bless anon, and i hope you receive Jesus in your heart one day!

________________________________________________________

I was writing to this anon but I guess my friend got to this question before I could. HAHa. But I still want to add! :)))

Hey, anon!

You ask a very radical question!!

The brutal truth is, we are all imperfect and we are all pre-destined to go to hell. Since the fall of man (Adam&Eve) we have all come into this world as sinners:

“Behold, I was brought forth in [a state of] iniquity; my mother was sinful who conceived me [and I too am sinful].” - Psalm 51:1 (Amplified Bible)

But our story doesn’t end there. God didn’t leave us on our own. God loves us so much that even while we were still sinners, He sent His own son to die for all the sins of mankind.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” - John3:16

Jesus (free of all sin/the perfect sacrifice) took the bullet for all of us and now through Him we gain life. But, thats just the thing “THROUGH HIM” and that’s where free will comes in place.

Now what exactly is free will? Free will is the choice God gave us to either choose A. Life or B. Death. This is totally and 100% completely our choice, God will not interfere in our choice.

I’ll give you an example:

Ok, Let’s say that Obama knows how many people living in the states are living here illegally… So he decides to be generous and makes an immigration law that will assist illegal immigrants in becoming legal for free. (All the people living here illegally know about this new law.)  Now all theses people have the choice to apply or not apply. Those who don’t go and apply will be deported back to their home country and those who do go and apply will not be deported and will be able to continue living in the states.

Now, the same goes with God. God knows how many people are saved and not saved. There’s the bible, preachers, evangelists, etc. We have the choice to listen to them or to tune out them out. At the end of the day the choice is ours.

Once again, just because God knows what you will choose doesn’t mean that you don’t have a choice. You can make the choice right now, no one is forcing you to pick yes or no.

I hoped I answered your question. :)

Be Blessed!

Anonymous asked: there are about 6/7 billion people in the world. i have never considered being moslem. why would any other moslem girl consider becoming christian? is christianity really a 'choice'? is it a fair choice like christians go on about? You can give the verse about everyone hearing the gospel at least once or about God giving everyone a chance, but how realistic is this chance that God apparently gives?

Many people in our world today, even some chrisitans, have embraced the false idea that Chrisitanity is just another religion in a world full of religious options. However, nothing could be further from true. Christianity is unique amongst all of the faiths of the world because chrisianity is actually not a religion! I say this because religions are human attemtps to make our lives right with God. This is attempted through our good works, sacrifices, rituals, and money. However, Chrisitanity is not a religion. Christianity is about God entering human history to graciously save us through His Son Jesus Christ; and it is only by placing our faith in Him and His saving work on the cross that we can be saved. Christianity isnot about what we do as human beings in order to please God, but rather, it’s about what God has done for us that we could have an eternal, peaceful relationship with Him.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” - John3:16

Christianity, unlike the religions of the world, offers salvation not based on human merit , but on God’s free offer of pardon. This is what makes Christianity unique.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” - Ephesians 2:8-9

Now for your next question.

First, we are responsible for the truth we know. Second, our concern for the lost should drive us to reach them with the message of JC! Instead of dwelling on “what ifs” LET’S GET BUSY! PREACH THE WORLD!

Third, we are not ultimately in a position to judge God’s actions as “fair” or “unfair”. Some people would consider it unfair that they were force-fed christianity their whole life, while others could say it was unfair to hear the gospel from Christians who tainted the message by being abusive or hypocritical. In other words, even those who hear about Jesus may hypothetically complain that they did not have a fair chance. In the final analysis, however, we know that God is just and that no sinner will be able to honestly protest to God that he wanted to know Him but was not allowed.

God Bless.

Anonymous asked: If it in God's plan for everybody to be saved or is it possible that some people just weren't meant to or will never be saved?

Yes, it’s true that God already knows who’s name will be written in the book of life and who’s will not BUT just because He knows it doesn’t affect our choice on choosing God or not.

I’ll give you an example. Let’s say you’re favorite color is blue. Is anyone forcing you to like the color blue? no. And hey guess what?! God knew you would love the color blue! Now does God knowing you would love the color blue.. is that forcing you to like it? No way! That was your own choice and God won’t intervene in our own choices.   :)

Anonymous asked: how is there be free will if everything is predestined by God?

The truth is: We are all predestined to go to hell. But God is very merciful & sent his son Jesus to die on the cross in order for us to have that free will.  Free will is the choice God gave us to either choose A. Life or B. Death. This is totally and 100% completely our choice, and God will not interfere in our choice.

I’ll give you an example:

Ok, Let’s say that Obama knows how many people living in the states are living here illegally… So he decides to be generous and makes an immigration law that will assist illegal immigrants in becoming legal at no cost. (All the illegal immigrants know about this new law.)

Now all the immigrants have the choice to apply or not apply. Those who don’t go and apply will be deported and those who do go and apply will not be deported.

God knows how many people are not saved. There’s the bible, preachers, evangelists, etc. We have the choice to listen to them or to tune out. At the end of the day the choice is ours.

chiclovesyou asked: how do y'all feel about predestination vs free will? I kind of fall between in the middle, but I don't know how Biblical that kind of view is. you guys are the best <3

I believe predestination and free will go hand in hand.

Meaning God does knows everything! c:

There’s not one thing that God doesn’t know. God already knows who’s going to heaven and who isn’t, but just because He knows doesn’t mean it effects our choice of free-will.

No one tells us what or what not to believe we choose for ourselves.

Anonymous asked: If we have free will, what does all of Romans 9-11 mean?

That’s a lot of scripture so here’s a condensed response

Romans 9 is about Israel and the Jews being hardened due to the Gentiles. Earlier in Chapter 9 it talks about the Gentiles becoming part of Israel. This was the stumbling stone, that Jesus died for all and you must come by faith. “As it is written: Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame”.

In Romans 10 I imagine you refer to verse 20 “
I was found by those who did not seek Me; I was made manifest to those who did not ask for Me.” That is not a scripture that backs up not having free will. That is about the Gentiles. They were not seeking and asking God for a messiah but received because Jesus died for all men. Meanwhile Israel rejects Christ. Verse 21 “But to Israel he says: All day long I have stretched out My hands To a disobedient and contrary people.” Israel would not receive.

Romans 11 is about that the Gentiles are to provoke Israel to believe.

If anything, all of this backs up that we have free will because Israel had the ability to reject Jesus but could also come to faith.

Anonymous asked: If God really does give us free will, then why does it say in different verses that we are chosen? Deuteronomy 14:2 1 Peter 2:9 Ephesians 1:3-4. If we are chosen, doesn't that mean we didn't have free will as far as becoming Christians? What about those that aren't chosen? Does that mean that God never meant for them to be saved, if this was all predestined? I'm honestly confused.

If you gain a proper understanding of Ephesians 1:3-6 (include vs 5 and 6) you’ll see that he chose us in Christ. That means that he chose to send Christ and reconcile us before the world was made. That’s what is meant in verse 5 by that we were chose in Him, being, in Christ. 1 Peter 2:9 is the same thing, we’re chosen in Christ as well as Ephesians 1:3-4, God chose us in Christ  to do good works.

Deuteronomy 14:2 is an old covenant scripture. God made a covenant with man in which he chose for them to be a special people. That also ties into Christ, ensuring there would be a virgin mother for him.
