Anonymous asked: So you're saying that those who are attracted to the same gender should not act on their preference and never have a chance to find a significant other?

Jesus came not to help people accept themselves, but to save His people from their sins. The Lord does love us for who we are, but in spite of who we are, Jesus desires that we would have the desire to change and to be healed so that  He could work within us to heal and transform us into righteous people.

“Jesus saw him lying there and knew the man had been sick a long time. Jesus said to him, “Would you like to be healed?” - John 5:6

This scripture tells us that when we had been sick for a long time, it is natural that we would want to accept the sickness as part of our life. But, Jesus wants us to reject that and He want us to chose to live a transformed life; and this is the pre-condition for any transformation by Jesus.

Jesus died for His enemies, and for strangers, demonstrating His unconditional love that they might turn to Him for saving grace, which is divine transforming power. We are not saved from sin by God’s unconditional love; but because of His unconditional love we are saved from our sins by His Grace, His divine transforming power. The plan of salvation is all about transformation, re-creation, new motives, new thoughts, new tastes, and new tendencies.

“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature (creation): old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” - 2 Corinthians 5:17

It is never safe to trust our feelings or our own human reasoning when evaluating our standing with Christ. For God tells us through His word in Jeremiah 17:9-10  ”The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Then He answers the question by saying, “I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”

The only safe way to evaluate our standing with Christ is by stepping up to the mirror, His moral law of 10 commandments. For He says, “If you love me, keep my commandments.” - John 14:15  and, “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” - 1 John 5:2-3

You might also want to consider His warning in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ (we really don’t have a relationship after all)

You see, knowing Jesus and having a good relationship with Him results in allowing Him to transform your life into one of obedience in every area of your life, not just in overcoming alcohol and drugs, but in also overcoming the addiction of homosexuality.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.” - Revelation 3:20

God can deliver us from anything. We are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

Anonymous asked: anon said that homosexuality isn't a choice... that it's something you're born with. do you think a person could be born gay? I mean, we are all born with sin... so I think you can be born gay because it's just like any other sin. with that being said, God can always provide a way out. problem is, some people love their sin too much to let go.... just a food for thought. :)

Hey! :)

We want to say that we don’t hate homosexuals and we want you guys to know that God doesn’t hate homosexuals. Yes, we do believe that a person can be born gay since we are all born into a sinful nature. What we were trying to say is that homosexuality is not the same thing as being a genetic condition, such as skin color, height, or gender. Unlike homosexuality you can’t choose (genetically by nature) what skin color you want, what eye color you want, how tall you want to be etc. So, even if you are born gay it is still a choice.

But you are absolutely correct, God can always provide a way out but it is ultimately your choice if you want Him to or not.

God Bless!

Anonymous asked: You do know that being homosexual in itself is not a sin, right? It is only when you are a sexually active, practicing homosexual that it becomes a problem.

But each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. James 1:14-15

For out of the heart comes evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. Matthew 15:19

Those verses tells us that every single person on this earth is tempted.

Jesus said that anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matthew 5:28

The bible says that we are what is in the abundance of our hearts. So this tells us all that you don’t even have to be physically-sexually-active with someone to sin, cause if you are lusting after a person in your heart, you have already slept with them in your heart (spiritually). And to God, that is sin.

God didn’t intend for men to be with men or women with women. And I highly doubt God would be foolish or dumb enough to put a man’s spirit in a woman’s body or to put a woman’s spirit in a man’s body. Absolutely not, God does not make mistakes like that-that would go against His own word. God is true to His word now, tomorrow, yesterday and for-forever (Leviticus 18:22, Timothy 2:13).

Ask God to bring wisdom to your heart. Wisdom and courage to stand up for what His word says, not for what the world or what some pastor says to be true. ‘Cause the truth is, people are afraid of truth. People never want to hear what they don’t want to hear. People always want to stay in the place they feel comfortable at because the are afraid of change.

But I tell you today, in these hard times (nearing Jesus’ return) there will be many false prophets leading people astray from God (Matthew 24:24). So I encourage you anon, Look to God. Read His word, but read it in the spirit and open up your heart to accept the truth as it stands. Ask God to help you. The bible says that He is mighty to save and wants to help guide our paths to the right place, but He needs our hearts to be willing to let Him take complete control. Only God can break chains and pull the blind folds off of our eyes. Only He can mend a broken heart and only He can truly purify a heart to stand in truth without falling into a lake of sin.

There are things that are hard to understand and that are difficult to believe in without thinking it is religiosity. But anon, we are not here to sugarcoat the truth nor bend it, on the contrary, our desire is to guide everyone right with truth to walk straight in Christ’s path.

Jesus will light the way, kid. Just believe in God and trust in Him with all your heart.

Be blessed friend.

Anonymous asked: I'm a Christian and all of my friends are very aware of my morals and they do not discourage me to stray from them, but I have a gay best friend, and he knows my views on homosexuality, but he also knows I love him regardless because we all sin. I was wondering, what's your opinion on being best friends with someone who's gay?

There’s nothing wrong or sinful with being friends with with someone who is gay. Yes, we have to hold on to what God says, but we also have to be loving and lovingly present the truth to them. That’s what JC would want us to do.

God Bless!

Anonymous asked: Have you hears about the new Gay Bible? Every part that says God, they put queen. Idk why but its pretty crazy

I have heard of it and sadly this “queen james bible” is real.

This “bible” twists scripture in order to justify the actions of people, to let people hear what they want to hear and not what they need to hear.. The reason why I put “bible” in quotations is because this “bible” is not the real Bible (God’s Word) this book is filled with words of deception. Jesus said “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” - Matthew 24:35

The Bible also says that God’s word is truth and to change it would be an untruth and anyone who adds or takes away from the Bible, will be in deep trouble on their day of judgement.

“For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.” - 2 Timothy 4:3

thecomingglory-deactivated20121 asked: Hey, I need some serious advice! I'm the president of a christian club, and this is the first time I've ever been a position like this. I just saw a boy's status on Facebook saying that our teacher told him he's going to hell for being homosexual, and now there's talk he's going to report it. I was wondering, how do I discuss this with him? I want to do it lovingly, like Christ would. I know it's sin, but he thinks God is fully supportive of his lifestyle.

Ahoy!

Send him this preaching on homosexuality: What do you say to a gay friend?<— click for link. And encourage him to listen to it all the way through with an open heart.

The truth is many of us call ourselves Christians, live in complete sin and still think that God is fully supportive of us because He loves us. And that’s not how it works.

It’s hard to accept truth when we’re so blinded living in a disguised fractured world. We all need edifying and it’s only Jesus that can truly set us free from ourselves.

Just pray for him and let God work in him. (Philippians 2:13)

Have faith in the One who is Mighty to Save. =]

Anonymous asked: How do you feel about Obama's backing of gay marriage or homosexuality in generl

If I was still living for the world with worldly views, I’d accept it and support it with everything. .. but from a Christian perspective, having walked in God’s path for some years now and gaining wisdom from his word along the way.. I completely disagree with it.

I whole heartedly believe that man and woman make one when united. They complete each other. One has what the other doesn’t— to satisfy his/her other in both mind, body and spirit. Man can’t give another man what he truly needs just as a woman can’t give another woman what she truly needs. It might sound messy and childish and maybe hard to believe as it once was for me but the truth is that God doesn’t make any mistakes when he forms us in the womb of our mother. He does everything in perfection. (Hab 1:13, Is 6:3, Ps 16:2)

When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke
them into being. When I created man, I formed him from
the dust of the Earth and breathed life into his
nostrils. But you, woman, I fashioned after I breathed
the breath of life into man because your nostrils are
too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over him
so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you. Man
was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with
the creativity. From one bone I fashioned you. I chose
the bone that protects man’s life. I chose the rib,
which protects his heart and lungs and supports him,
as you are meant to do

Around this one bone I shaped you. I modeled you. I
created you perfectly and beautifully. Your
characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate
and fragile. You provide protection for the most
delicate organ in man, his heart. His heart is the
center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of
life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken
before it will allow damage to the heart. Support man
as the rib cage supports the body.” - God (genesis1)

Everybody has their own opinions and views on this. This is a very sensitive and grey like topic. Whatever each of us may believe, let us try to not judge or spread hate in any way.

I suggest anyone who is confused by this to ask God for wisdom and understanding. He’s righteous and he leads his people in the right direction. Sometimes it’s hard for us to see things or to accept things, I dunno maybe from lack of faith or lack on knowledge.. but his word states that he will give wisdom and discernment to anyone who asks for it. He opens the eyes of the blind, both physically and spiritually and God most surely breaks all chains and molds us into the people we were created to be. to be the people he intended us to be. (Is 9.4-7, James 1.5, Ps 5.8)

Let love rule, overtake us and open our hearts to live by his will.

Someone asked “Out of these: Homosexuals, trannies, bisexuals, gays. which one has a better chance of getting into heaven.” // I think I deleted the question by accident, here’s my response:

Whoa. That’s a really good question!

The truth is none of them will inherit the kingdom of God IF they do not know Christ. This goes for all sinners (everyone) not just homosexuals, bisexuals, transexuals, etc..

Now if you’re trying to say if a homosexual, tranny, etc. were to accept Christ in their life and not change their lifestyle around.. well that’s a whole different story.

The bible tells us that if someone has truly accepted Christ into his/her life then nothing can keep him out of heaven:

“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” - John 10:28

Now the real question here is whether these people have had a life-changing experience with Christ.

In the bible Jesus says “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?” - Luke 6:46

Someone put it simply:

“No Jesus, no change. Know Jesus, know change.”

Hhaha makes sense, right? ☺

So if these people are trying to overcome their homosexuality and so on. (with the help of Jesus of course, it’s not possible any other way) Then that’s a good sign that Christ is working in their life. God is the only one who truly knows these people’s hearts. So if Christ has become the Lord of their life, then the Holy Spirit will begin to deal with the sin of homosexuality, etc. in their lives.

God bless!
