Anonymous asked: im pretty sure if its medical its been recommended by a doctor. (this is another anon who is interested in your answer, because I have some spinal nerve issues that keep me from sleeping. I've had this since I was a baby, and this would help, I'd rather smoke something than take prescription pills that are way more addictive. I wouldn't need it every night because normally a heating pad keeps it bearable, but sometimes its not enough)

What I was asking the other anon was if his doctor told him to grow marijuana giving him a legal permit to do so. I guess, I should have elaborated more. ha. ha.

Anyway, dude, check out this verse:

“Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” - Romans 13:1-7

As you can see in the above verse, God wants us to obey our governing authorities. Smoking marijuana, even for medical reasons, is illegal.

God only allows us to break the law only when it comes down to choosing between obeying God or obeying the government. But it clearly doesn’t apply in this case.

If your doctor has given you legal permission to use medical marijuana then  I would say it would be fine to use just as long as you do not abuse it and strictly use it in the amounts your doctor tells you to.

But first and foremost. God’s answer is the only one that matters. If your doctor gives you legal permission to use MMJ, I would ask God if it’s something He would allow me to do.

Anonymous asked: If God made everything good on this earth, why can't I smoke MJ?

Whoa! That’s a very good question! :DD

In Genesis 1:31, God saw everything He had made and called it “very good”.

After all, all things were made by Him, and He is a good God.

But.. does this mean we can use the earth and it’s resources in any way we choose?  We must keep in mind that God pronounced creation good before the curse of sin. When Adam and Eve sinned (Genesis 3), they brought sin into the world, which included many negative consequences. However good the world was before the fall, it became less good afterwards. God’s world today is good in many ways, but even good things can be abused and misused.

Missing the point, some people justify the recreational use of pot because it is a herb that God made. The scientific name of a herb commonly called pot or marijuana is Cannabis sativa. The plant from which pot is obtained is a variety of hemp. Hemp is a useful plant that can be called “good” in many ways. It’s fiber is one of the strongest in the plant kingdom and is often used to make fabric and rope. Hemp is a hardy plant that can grow and harvest. Hemp seeds have tremendous nutritional value and only contain trace amounts of the chemical THC that causes one to get high when consumed in abundance. Hemp seeds are used in dozens of food and personal hygiene products. Furthermore, even the chemical THC has potential as a medicine to beifit people who range of ailments like alaucoma, caner, AIDS.

Clearly hemp is good, but like many good things in God’s good-but-cursed world, hemp can be misused and abused. Marijuana is good in some ways, but not in every way. There are many plants that have very positive uses as a medicine or a textile product, but when ingested or smoked can impair our minds, leading to foolish and reckless actions.

Possession of any amount of marijuana is illegal in most states and countries. The bible says it is wrong to break the law unless the government is requiring something inconsistent with scripture.

“Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” - Romans 13:1

Getting high on any psychoactive drug, including marijuana, impairs one’s  judegment. Chrisitans should be sober and clear-headed in order to avoid spiritual deception.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.” - Romans 12:2

“Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.” - 1 Peter 1:13

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” - 1 Peter 5:8

Pot is known to keep people from reaching their potential. We should give our best to God for His glory. !

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” - 1 Corinthians 10:31

Although not physically addictive, pot can be habbit forming as a psychological crutch. Drugs will not make one’s problems disappear; they will only delay the onset of having to deal with problems and will often create more problems. There is no problem too great that God can not handle or that Christ would not want to help you with.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” - Matthew 11:28-30

High fives and Blessings, Brah! :) :] :O

Anonymous asked: Do you think it's bad to try weed, even one time?

Yes&Yes.

Possession of marijuana is illegal. The bible tells us it is wrong to break the laws unless they go against the bible.

“Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” - Romans 13:1

Getting high on any kind of drug including marijuana messes up your judgment. When you’re high you no longer have control of your actions. God wants us to be sober minded and to avoid spiritual deception.

“Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.” - 1 Peter 1:13

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” - 1 Peter 5:8

We should offer the best of what we have for God’s glory. Marajauna is know for keeping people away from reaching their potential.

Also smoking weed can become a habit.

If you haven’t done weed. I highly recommend you don’t start, not even try it. Don’t fall into temptation.

God Bless

Anonymous asked: Do you think is marijuana evil? Is there anything in the bible that mentions it in any way?

The bible doesn’t really mention the word “marijuana”, but there is some context in the bible that leads us to believe why marijuana isn’t good for christians to use.

First of all Marijuana is a hallucinogen and an addictive. The bible clearly teaches us that God wants nothing to be in control except Him alone. Marijuana messes with your conscience and doesn’t allow let you think for yourself. God wants our minds to be sober.

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” - 1 Peter 5:8

When you have no control over your own actions, or the words you say, or your mind. That’s a big chance for the enemy to mess with you.

Also, marijuana does nothing good for you, there’s a lot of health risks involved. Marijuana effects your lungs, your heart, your brain, it impairs the immune system from fighting disease, it could also be fatal etc.

God wants us to take care of our bodies, smoking marijuana or anything like it is in no way taking care of our bodies.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

“What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.” - Isaiah 5:20

God bless yah!

Anonymous asked: God made everything in this world, and if everything has a purpose through God's eyes. Then what is the purpose of marijuana? What type of spiritual connection can we achieve through the power of weed that God has put on this Earth. We can do anything in Christ so why has God blessed this Earth with marijuana? Please share your thoughts on the benefits of why God has put this plant on the Earth for us.

You do not need marijuana to make a spiritual connection. The Holy Spirit indwells those who believe. There is no greater connection. No substance can help you make a connection with God.

Marijuana may have purposes outside of it’s normal use as an intoxicant. Just like tobacco has usage outside of smoking, which has proven to be bad. If you get a bee sting you can put some tobacco under the bandage and it helps out a lot. We ferment grapes into alcohol and that was often used to purify water and kill parasites but wasn’t enough to intoxicate someone. Things have their context. Just like words. Words have their context where they are appropriate in culture and meaning. We put meanings into words though. An ass has a proper context but used outside of that an in our culture it isn’t. It isn’t about the words but the spirit and meaning we place on those words.
