Anonymous asked: I'm a christian and lately I've been struggling a lot with worrying what other people think of me. I've always struggled with this but now that I'm a sophomore in high school I'm tempted with drugs and alcohol and sex. I feel like everyone is doing it and that people judge me for not doing it. I feel pathetic sometimes and like a goody two shoes. I know I shouldn't care but I feel so stuck between my faith and the world I live in. People make it seem like if I did these things it wouldn't hurt

Nothing good come out of those things. Those things are the very things countless people are bound to and are desperately wanting to be free from.

Yeah, if you truly follow Christ people will judge you. The same things about you that some scoff will be the same things that bring others hope and set people free. You have a choice in this life: 1: follow everyone else and lead other followers down the same path, or 2: Follow Jesus, experience freedom, and lead others to that freedom.

Don’t worry that people are judging you, worry that people aren’t judging you because they don’t see Christ in you.
