1st: go with your heart. Just share. I’ve actually pretty much completely stopped writing notes for my sermons.

2nd: find a good scripture to open up with about faith.

3rd: Use an illustration. Tell a story from life or something.

4th, give a few points about keeping faith that can be thought on through the week.

These are things I shoot for. I think if you do that you’ll be yourself and you’ll have a message that is short enough that you’ll keep attention of those listening, yet long enough to be of substance!

Most of all, follow the Holy Spirit!
